As a fellow resident, I take great pride in our flourishing downtowns along the BNSF Metra Railway. I’ve seen new construction projects rejuvenate Ogden Avenue and La Grange Road/Mannheim Road. Highways have been widened to allow for better access to O’Hare and Midway airports. And a growth of little known eateries in downtown La Grange has become the “go to” spot for local foodies.
