Serving the Area Around La Grange IL

Nancy Miller Helps Make the Difference!

Buying or Selling a Home Around La Grange, IL - or Perhaps Moving Across the Country?

As a fellow La Grange Park Resident and Realtor®, I know what our area has to offer. From the plethora of bustling restaurants in downtown La Grange, to the fantastic experience that “world famous” Brookfield Zoo brings to both residents and tourists alike, our stretch of “home” is unique. While exact distances vary, our home is just 15-20 miles from the heart of Chicago’s Loop. A mere 15 miles to O’Hare International Airport, and 9+ miles to Midway International Airport. All this and Metra railway stops in most towns! Whether you’re a world traveler or jet-set executive, you could not ask for a more mobile and accessible area.

Living near a worldwide tourist destination like Chicago, Illinois, it’s easy to forget all we have at our fingertips. Become a weekend Chicago tourist: visit the new Navy Pier Centennial Ferris Wheel, step out onto Willis Tower’s Skydeck, or take in a ball game at historic Wrigley Field or Soldier Field! There’s so much to see!

La Grange is a village that is rich with history. With La Grange’s Historic District being added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, you will see beautifully maintained and/or restored homes and public buildings throughout. Despite this distinction, the Village is nestled amongst modern conveniences just over 15 miles from Chicago’s Loop.

La Grange Park is the Village of Roses, known for its historic homes and over 24 acres of parkland, multiple Cook County Forest Preserves and the beautiful Salt Creek Bike Trail. All of this, coupled with award-winning schools, has led to an influx of new residents.

The vast history of Hinsdale is captured so nicely by their Historic Society, and yet they can also bolster the recently formed “Kitchen Walk” in which home owners welcome others into their historic homes in order to take in some of the charm of the area.

Brookfield is a small village just 13 miles west of downtown Chicago. While it’s probably best known for Brookfield Zoo by tourists and Chicagoland neighbors, the village was recognized in 2013 by Chicago Magazine as one of the top places in metro Chicago for first-time home buyers. Brookfield is rooted in tradition, and driven by a modernizing community sense.

Western Springs has much historic and modern day significance, having been named #2 in a list of the 50 best places to raise children in November 2007, by BusinessWeek.com.

Even though I focus in La Grange, La Grange Park, Brookfield, Hinsdale, and Western Springs, Illinois, one of the special benefits I can offer to anyone moving out of our area is Coldwell Banker’s vast referral network. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is an international real estate brokerage. The combination of this network and my 25+ years of experience allows me to assist you with selecting the right Realtor® for you, wherever your next move may take you.

That’s why my tagline has remained constant over the years: “Whether Moving Across the Street or Across the Country…Let Miller Move You!”
