Enjoy Some of the Many Activities La Grange IL Offers This Summer!
While many people know Nancy Miller as a local Realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in La Grange, IL, you may not know that she’s an advocate for local businesses and the towns she focuses in. As an avid pet lover, it’s no surprise that one of the local events that bring great joy to her heart is the annual La Grange Pet Parade! Known as the original Pet Parade in the United States, La Grange has celebrated this event for over 70 years! If you missed this year’s event, visit the organization’s Facebook page here to see the latest photos posted from the June 3rd parade.
La Grange Park District Entertainment
The Park District of La Grange hosts Park Days: Obstacle Course! “Park Days are a great way to spend some quality time outdoors with friends, old and new! Come on out and try your best at the parks obstacle course set up by the Park District camp staff! Each participant will leave with something to remember the day with.” Held in a different park on the second Wednesday of each month, you can rest assured that this activity will not get boring. Free for ages 6-12, children are encouraged to spend the hour at this event testing themselves on a collection of obstacles of varying difficulty. Parents are encouraged to relax and enjoy while the kids have fun!

Don’t miss the 41st Annual La Grange Craft Fair in July in the central business district.
Even if you’re just strolling through Historic Downtown La Grange, enjoy the whimsy of the Summer Art Exhibit. Custom designed and painted beverage coolers throughout La Grange are displayed in front of businesses, and will be auctioned for charity at the West End Arts Festival in September.
